Rick Ginsberg Reception Parking

We are excited to recognize Dean Ginsberg for his nearly 20 years of leadership at the University of Kansas. To ensure family, friends and colleagues from around the state and nation can attend, we have arranged for free parking in the Central District Parking Garage (CDPG) for the duration of the event.

Guests using the CDPG MUST preregister their car’s license plate number to avoid a ticket. Please visit the KU Transportations Services portal and follow the instructions below to register the vehicle.

• Click on “Purchase Event Permit.”
• Check the box “Review and agree to the conditions.”
• Select the event type – “Conference/Mtg.”
• Select the event – “Rick Ginsberg Thank You Reception.”
• Enter the Voucher code – “Ginsberg”.
• Select “CDPG EVENT PARKING.”
• Click the “Add Vehicle” tab in the lower-left corner.
• Enter vehicle information and then click "add."
• Click the Continue button at the bottom right of the page.
• Please complete the checkout process to successfully confirm your registration. There will be no charge. 

KU faculty and staff with an appropriate parking permit may park in other nearby lots and facilities as well.
