Strengthen Our Jayhawk Community: Annual Training Launches Sept. 22
Dear Colleague,
Every day your actions help build a campus community where students, colleagues and visitors can succeed and feel safer, supported and valued. KU’s annual compliance training provides an opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills to continue contributing to a thriving Jayhawk community.
Training Modules Open Sept. 22-Oct. 26
Beginning Sept. 22, the following training modules will be assigned through MyTalent and should be completed by all KU employees by Oct. 26:
- Data Privacy Principles
- Emergency Management
- Information Security and Appropriate Use: One KU
- Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Training
These required training modules should take 20 to 30 minutes each. Details and instructions on how to access the training will be emailed to you next week.
Designated Campus Security Authorities will also be assigned the Clery Act training for CSAs. Additionally, all employees will have the opportunity to increase self-awareness and build intercultural competency through the optional Fostering Respect and Belonging training.
Building Upon IRISE
Annual compliance training builds upon KU’s IRISE values of Integrity, Respect, Innovation, Stewardship and Excellence, equipping employees with tools and resources to effectively navigate issues that affect our campus community.
Thank you for all you do to make KU a more welcoming, secure and successful place for our students, employees and Jayhawks everywhere.
Respectfully,
Arash and Natalie
