Nominate a High School Teacher Who Changed Your Story, Help Them Win $3,000
Dear Seniors,
Did a high school teacher have a lasting impact on your life and shape who you are today? Was there someone who inspired you to think differently, dream bigger, work harder to pursue your goals, or believe in you when it mattered most?
Now is your chance to celebrate that impact by nominating them for the $3,000 Wolfe Teaching Excellence Award.
About the Award
Each year, KU graduating seniors are invited to honor a high school teacher who made a meaningful difference in their academic journey. We are looking for your stories about teachers who inspired, challenged, supported, or encouraged you along the way.
Nominations should highlight:
- Creative or engaging teaching
- Genuine care for students
- Guidance on academic or life decisions
- Extra time, effort, or creativity they invested in supporting you.
If a teacher helped shape your path, we want to hear about it.
Eligibility
High school teachers from any state or country and who covered any subject can be nominated.
Who Can Nominate
Any KU graduating senior, from any major or department, is welcome to submit a nomination.
Deadline
All nominations must be submitted through the online form by 5 p.m. CST on April 17, 2026.
