Annual Faculty & Staff Training Now Open
Dear Colleague,
The annual required training modules are now available in MyTalent. Please complete them by Nov. 14.
As KU faculty and staff members, we have a responsibility to build and support a healthy and vibrant campus community that fosters the well-being of each Jayhawk. These learning modules are designed to give you the knowledge and skills to support students and colleagues by identifying, reporting and resolving potential issues.
You can find the modules by clicking on the links at the bottom of this message, or by logging into the MyTalent system and clicking on the “Learning Assignments” tile under “Learning.” Detailed instructions at the end of this message will guide you in accessing the learning modules. If the material in the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX Annual Training module could cause elevated emotions and you think you might have difficulty completing the learning module, please contact the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX at civilrights@ku.edu or 785-864-6414.
These modules are largely self-paced, and we encourage you to complete them as soon as possible. Beginning Oct. 14, you will receive weekly email reminders until you have completed each of the required Information Security and Acceptable Use, Office of Civil Rights & Title IX, and Review of University Policies trainings. Some employees, depending on their role, will also be assigned the Campus Security Authority Training module, which must also be completed by Nov. 14.
Per the Required Training Policy, assigned required training must be completed by the specified deadline.
Our collective effort toward a safer campus community is strengthened by the awareness, knowledge and reinforcement that comes through annual training. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the learning modules.
We appreciate all that you do for our students, your colleagues and Jayhawks everywhere.
Respectfully,
Natalie, Lauren and Jeremy
