KU All Students

Dear Jayhawk,

The University of Kansas is currently undergoing reaffirmation of accreditation, and your thoughts and experiences at KU are an important part of this process.

We are asking you to participate in an anonymous survey provided by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the institutional accrediting association that comprehensively evaluates universities.

The answers you provide on this survey are anonymous. A summary of your input will be provided to HLC representatives who will visit KU in March. Unless you include identifying information in your comments, nobody from HLC or KU will know your identity.

The survey takes about five minutes. Please complete the survey before February 5.

Respectfully,

Jen and Gina

About Accreditation:

The university-wide reaffirmation of accreditation review by HLC occurs every 10 years and provides an important opportunity for KU to demonstrate all the ways we are working toward fulfilling our mission to educate leaders, build healthy communities and make discoveries that change the world.

  • Accreditation is important for a number of reasons:
  • Ensures the value and recognition of KU degrees
  • Signals to students, employers and other educational institutions that KU meets or exceeds national
  • Allows the university to receive federal funding, including student financial aid

Visit KU’s accreditation website for more information.
