KU Content Management System Users

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the implementation of DubBot, a powerful web monitoring tool designed to make it easier for you to identify and address issues on the KU websites you manage. The adoption of this new tool will help us maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement across our digital resources, ensuring that our web presence adapts to the evolving needs of the KU community.

Understanding DubBot's Impact

Through a personalized dashboard, you will have access to insights about the websites you manage. With regular automated scans of all KU Sunflower CMS websites, DubBot flags areas for improvement such as accessibility issues, inconsistencies with policy, legal compliance gaps, spelling errors, broken links and Search Engine Optimization opportunities.
This automated approach simplifies compliance and modernizes our digital presence, aligning with KU's broader initiatives outlined in the IT Strategic Plan, Jayhawks Rising, IRISE while also advancing web governance efforts to create a more unified online experience for the Jayhawk community.

Analytics and Insights

In addition to compliance and monitoring, DubBot provides valuable analytics about your website's performance. Individuals can access weekly, monthly or yearly views of key metrics including:

  • Views
  • Sessions
  • Users
  • Engagement Rate
  • Average Engagement Time

Getting Started

Our DubBot resource page provides all the details you need, including an introduction to the platform, how it helps improve your websites and simple instructions for requesting access.

The implementation of DubBot reflects our ongoing commitment to digital excellence and accessibility at KU. For any questions or guidance during your setup process, please contact webservices@ku.edu.

Thank you for your engagement in this important initiative.
