Director of KU Institute for International & Global Engagement

Candidates

Presentation Topic: Recognizing that the institute is new and that this director will need to work with campus partners (the Area Centers, International Affairs, Provost’s Office and Office of Research in particular) to define and operationalize a clear mission and vision for the IIGE, what do you see as the most significant community engagement opportunities before us (community needs)? How do those opportunities relate to KU’s international and global capacities (academic and operational)? How do you see the new institute functionally serving to align those capacities with community needs?

Presentations will be conducted in person and available for live streaming via Zoom. Details for each candidate are below.
