The Provost’s Office will hold its annual open meeting to discuss procedures to be followed in the preparation and review of recommendations for promotion and tenure in 2017-2018. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, in Alderson Auditorium of the Kansas Union. Departmental and school promotion and tenure committee members, chairpersons, deans, and all interested faculty members are urged to attend. Members of the University Committee on Promotion and Tenure will be available to answer questions.

Guidelines for completing promotion and tenure materials, and the forms that are submitted, are posted on the Faculty Development Promotion and Tenure webpage, so that they can be reviewed prior to the meeting.

No additional meeting on promotion and tenure will be held in the fall.
