Policy Resources

An effective Information Management program is supported by policies that set clear expectations with regard to what needs to be done and who will be responsible for doing it. At KU, numerous policies (and procedures) already exist that are related in some way to Information Management. Additional policies will likely need to be developed as the needs of the University and technology evolve.

University policies can be found at the KU Policy Library, with those relating to Information Access & Technology outlined at www.policy.ku.edu/infoaccess.shtml. In relation to Information Management, specific policies of interest are:

Information Management Policy Group.

High-level administrative and academic representatives providing institution-wide perspective and advice in policy development and program outcomes evaluation of the Information Management Program (including Records Management).
