KU Lawrence Faculty, Staff and Affiliates
All KU Lawrence and Edwards Students

The first concealed carry information session for the University of Kansas Lawrence and Edwards campuses takes place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, in 120 Budig Hall.

Associate Professor of Journalism and Mass Communications and past University Senate President Mike Williams and KU Chief of Police Chris Keary will lead the concealed carry information session. Both individuals have been involved in developing KU’s policy in response to the law. They will share and expand upon information found on the concealedcarry.ku.edu website and answer questions from the audience about this statute-driven change. Additional campus leaders will be on hand to help explain how the change may affect specific groups on campus.

Those who cannot attend in person can view a livestream of the session. A recording of the session will be available at a later date.
