Notice of Interest (for all applicants)

If you are interested in pursuing the voluntary separation incentive program, please fill out the required online application form "VSIP Notice of Interest." The form, due by 5 p.m., Friday, July 10, is behind KU’s Secure Single Sign-On and will generate a confirmation response to your official KU email.

The opportunity to submit a notice of interest form has closed. No additional applications will be accepted.

Notice of Retirement (for selected applicants)

All applicants will be notified of their status by July 27, 2020. Those whose applications are approved will receive additional materials including a copy of the "VSIP Notice of Retirement" form via email. The VSIP Notice of Retirement form is due by 5 p.m. Aug. 14, 2020. A sample form appears here for review only.

Separation Agreement (for approved applicants)

Approved individuals who return a completed Notice of Retirement Form will receive a Separation Agreement document for review. Participants have a minimum mandatory 45-day review period between when they receive the agreement and before the can submit the signed and notarized document. All retirements must be effective on Dec. 31, 2020. The final signed Separation Agreement must be received by the Provost Office on their retirement date or within the seven days that follow. Instructions on how to notarize a document electronically through a Zoom meeting will be shared with participants.

Withdrawal Form

For applicants who want to withdraw from consideration in the VSIP. This may be returned at anytime prior to executing the Notice of Retirement form.
